Chinese Language and Literature Master's Program
Chinese culture with it's long history, enormously influenced Korean as well as the rest of the oriental world. After solidifying Korean and Chinese relations, these two countries have been devoted toward promoting better relations everywhere. Therefore, developing Chinese language and literature is to learn the essence of Eastern Culture and to understand the origin of our culture. The purpose is for every student to develop their own knowledge base so that they be able to continue to studying by themselves even after graduation. The department is divided into the majors of Chinese language and Chinese literature stemming from both the ancient age and the modern age. Also the departments of Chinese language and Chinese literature have produced a large number of scholars since 1974 when it was established.
