Cheongju University, Korea Information Systems Association Conference, Outstanding Graduate Student Paper Award, and Outstanding Paper Award

Cheongju University announced on the 20th of May that Hwang Ye-bin and Song Hee-won, who are attending the Graduate School of Big Data Statistics, won the Excellence Paper Award at the 2022 Spring Conference of the Korea Intelligence Systems Association.

The Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Intelligence Systems was held under the theme of "Big Data and Intelligence Systems" with various themes for pioneering research and application in related fields.

At the 2022 Spring Conference of the Korea Intelligence Systems Association held from May 13th to 14th , Hwang Ye-bin and Song Hee-won, who are studying for master's degree in big data statistics at Cheongju University, published a paper called "Model-based Ensemble Clustering to Determine the Optimal Technology Cluster."

The published paper proposed a method of deriving promising technologies through quantitative big data analysis to replace the existing expert-based qualitative technology analysis method. Their proposed paper won the Excellence Graduate Student Paper Award.

In addition, Woo Ye-rim, Song A-yeon, Lee Sang-hyuk, and Jin Wan-seo, who are enrolled in the Department of Big Data Statistics, published a paper titled "Study on Price Prediction of Procured Goods" in the field of big data analysis. Their proposed paper won the Excellence Paper Award.
